question from a noob

I have a little question. I am at lvl 11 and resources at lvl 14 and maxed out on main, barracks and warehouse. I have 6k inf troops and 187 cats and my crops are in negative flow. i have 3 more subcities. How is it possible for people to have so big armys? ive sen dudes with 40k +. even with crop oasis it seems that the cropflow will be negative?

Some armies are is huge minuses. If you have a negative crop output you have a certain amount of time before your army starves. On a rough estimate if you have a full warehouse and have a -18k crop output you have roughly 24hours to feed therefore the more of a minus the more you need to feed. Separating your army between cities, using crop oasis and enhance will allow you to increase your army size.

i know ppl who have to feed their armies every 2 h --> that are 200k*6cities 1200000 crops to use
then + oasis and resources ..... big armies are possible (i saw armies of 0/200k/400k/0 and more )

A 0/200k/400k/0 army is way to big for me to imagine :O

But as long as you are willing to only go without haypi for 10 hours you can have a very decent sized army
