Buying resources for alliance

Hey everybody,
I'm an alliance leader and I seem to be having trouble buying resources from the market for my alliance.
Everytime I go to the market to buy resources from the alliance menu it tells me that I'm trying to buy the resources for my main city and not the alliance city.
Anybody else having this problem? Anybody have a solution?

go to the alliance tab>scroll to the bottom>click on market and buy from that tab

If you do end up buying for your main city you could always just donate whatever you bought to your alliance.(Does the same thing just takes a little more work)
