Your thoughts on 3.0 update

I made a poll where you can cast your vote on how you think haypi did for the update in the off-topic section (general discussion doesn't let me make polls :( )

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11199&start=0

Vote and give reasons why you think that way! Thanks

Re: Your thoughts on 3.0 update

Exceptionally unstable. I can't even log on anymore. Before it started to force quit immediately, the map would cause the game to crash 1/3 of the time, it was laggy the other 2/3rds, people couldn't donate and overall the game was much slower then v2. It seems like they didn't test the update before releasing it.

Stardock's epic failure in its release of Elemental comes to mind here.

Re: Your thoughts on 3.0 update

I’m pretty disappointed in this update as well. It is very clear that Haypi spent very little time testing this out considering the number of major defects.
1) Constant crashing
2) Support button doesn’t work (which is pretty funny)
3) Alliance war report shows the attacker and defender as the same person
4) The troop march for alliance war shows 0,0,0,0
5) One glitch cost my alliance army to vanish, no report of losses or anything.

Other than the obvious defects that were missed, alliance wars is an interesting concept, however there is little to do once the warehouse is full. The non-leader players have little to do with alliance wars other than donation. Also, the troop build time is outrageous. They only way to stay competitive is to use mass coins to speed up troop training. If the alliance army is wiped out, you can pretty much forget about recovering as 10k cats takes a very long time to make unless you are using mass coins again.

There are some things I do like such as the oasis’ now show which city it is tied to and the scout reports now have a link back to that particular spot. The city looks pretty nice with the moving windmill as well.
