Making a new city: good or bad?

Hey, I'm still pretty much a noob at haypi kingdom, bbut I was wondering if making a new city is a good or bad move? I'd like to produce more crop so I can support my army, and make more for my army.

personally i think a new city is pretty good.
But different person might think differently, why not make it a vote so that forumers can share their thoughts with you.

Re: Making a new city: good or bad?

I just posted a huge reply and accidently deleted it... :(
Anyways. New cities are almost always a good idea because they help support your army (more food). Also, since they're harder to find, it's harder to starve you. (Unless, of course, you put them right next to your main city.)

I'd recommend making your first sub city and taking the rest because after your first sub city, making another one from scratch really takes a long time for it to become stronger.

I spread my sub cities across the map and made sure I put them next to forts for fort jumping. This widened my area of attack (since I could attack from many different cities that were spaced out evenly, I could scout everyone that was close to any of my cities.)

Ditto on what everyone else said. Also, when looking for a sub city to steal, a little math comes in handy. It works easiest with inactive players. Send an attack big enough to clear out the warehouse. Send another attack, say 100 cav immediately, so that it stacks. Take a look at how much crop you pull in from the second attacked. If it is around 2,500 or better, then the city most likely has lvl 17 or better crop fields.

I would steal subs and try to make sure they have level 20 crop that will help you support a larger army which is always nice :p I love huge armies <3 ;)

If you can find a coined city to steal, without facing consequences then take it. You will most likely have it taken back. Just build one.
