New Players Please Read

With English as the dominant language on Haypi Kingdom, I thought it best that this issue should be addressed.

New Players: when choosing a name, if it is in a foreign language, but translated into English, please look at the name carefully before choosing it. Some foreign names have great meaning and deep importance when understood in their original language. However when they are translated and put into English, they can look, to put it gently, like incorrectly spelled swear words (Yes, unfortunately English can mangle words).

This problem, when coupled with posting to World Chat, can lead to players abusing people's names, offending other people, and leading to accusations of people being racist. To avoid this please make sure to chose a name that, when translated into English, does not look like any sort of incorrectly spelled swear word, vulgar, offensive, or anything that can be deemed inappropriate. This way the Haypi Kingdom World Chat can be a place where everyone can chat and have fun.

No offense but I seriously doubt that anyone that doesn't have a name will be able to come on here and read this before they change their name

Vol. I guess you learned your lesson by having a name that originally offended people.

As funny as this is, i'm sure its a real problem. haha although i've never come across it myself, im sure this post has helped someone somewhere!
