Improper Use of Alts

I have been playing this game for over a year. Have had alts used against me. I have used alt myself. But the last few months I have learned more about alts and how using them breaks some rules. The rules of alts are a grey area. Not many even know about the rules. I have been a expert in the past. I never knew how strict haypi is about alt until the last couple weeks.

I've seen in forums players talking about depending what support you ask you get a different reply about alts. I think the firs step is making set rules that every support holds to there servers. Then go from there trying to decided how to handle the issue.

But I agree, its hard when you have people that share devices. You have some like myself that only has ipod/wifi. then you have players with more than one device. The other day for some reason my device would not log in. Kept saying lost comunication. I went to pal and I had a memeber look over my account until the issue was fixed. No idea how it got fixed but 24hrs later is was fixed. As a player that would starv in 8hrs it would not be fair to myself that an issue like that happen and I couldn't get some one to watch my acc for a day. It wasn't my wifi, because I logged into palring no problem.

But I am tired of the players that use alt and when used back they cry and talk of getting you banned. I can play this game with or with out alt. doesn't matter to me. But the rules need to be more clear on alts.

Its part of the game. Grow a pair and get some yourself.

So it is pretty impossible to block alts when servers merge constantly, putting that task #10 account right there with you.
But there are definitely scenarios where abuse is blatant.
My suggestion? Unless there's a problem, then it's really not going to get "policed" anyway. If there's a problem, then support can, will, and has before, check for any issue of what they consider abuse.
Abuse, using unfair advantage - don't use alt to help yourself, but helping others is ok. Don't use them to avoid chat mute, coming on to spam chat. Don't unfairly harass another player, using alts to pin, steal subs, whatever.
Well, there's one idea set anyway. ;P
