cant buy resources for alliance

I am a vice, but can not buy resources for the alliance. I am not using coin. I can make certain transactions, but at a certain price my ok button fades out. The money is there, and the resources are not being bought out from under me because i can email other vices, and they will make the purchase for me. I can buy for myself just fine.
I am still listed as a vice and can perform other vice duties just fine.
My leader has demoted me and then repromoted me in an attempt to refresh the settings.
I have sent support a letter, but its like pulling teeth getting help from them.
I have a htc thunderbolt.
I was wondering if it was possible for a leader to set a spending limit on a vice.

Try checking if resource capacity will overflow if you buy some resources and also check that you have the money...

We have the room and money for it, because other vices in my alliance can make the purchase.

there seems to be some problem where if the vice or leader attempting to buy resources for the alliance has less money in his personal account then the price of the resources then they cant buy it even if the alliance pot has plenty of money in it.

I did a little research on this very problem, and found this bug to be very real. If you have less money than the cost of the resource you will not be able to purchase it. I am positive that support is aware, and will fix it as soon as possible. Support doesn't miss much (:

I do indeed have less money in my own city than the alliance's transactions. So far, support has not figured it out. In fact, its been pretty frustrating dealing with support. Thanks so much for the responses. At least i have a clue as to what is wrong.

Lol! Thats funny. Youre, right though. Ive never had 50k in my bank, much less a base of 50k. Hopefully we get the bug fixed. Thanks, again.

Thats a good tip! Haha Im sure support monotors these forums and has seen many instances of this bug. Give it just a little time (:
