Tired of the new Alliance Ranking?

I know this is like putting a band-aid on a brain tumor, but here's something I did for s80. I got tired of seeing all these low ranked alliances ranked in the top 10 on the board. So I wrote down all the alliances on the top 50 page under prestige. Then I added up each member that was ranked 300 and above in the same prestige tab. The results were very surprising and will at least give me and my alliance a better strategic idea of where our server is currently standing. I posted the report in my AC, along with WC and my server's forums just to be nice. Like a said, it's a minor fix and obsolete in about 5 min, but it's better than the deceitful alliance ranking we've been given in its place. Here's what my final report looked like.

If you are only using the top 300 players technically that isnt the "real" alliance ranking

Im not sure anyone will even take a look at this and care, seeing as nobody goes by these rankings anymore

Try posting on your server discussion tab:) those of us not on s80 have no need for this. Also this has nothing to do with the name of the thread it is more of How the s80 alliances look.

I'm more surprised on how that alliance name of the rank 1 alliance is still allowed to exist. Better talk to the expert and support on that server to have it changed. Thanks

The leader of simians alliance is a good friend who is in my alliance in server 107. Now i know his alliance is good ranked.
It is true your post could be in a better place in your server wc but it's fun to see alliance war mean nothing comparate to cumuled prestige of all the members of an alliance.
Before alliance war, we were ranked 21. Now, we are ranked 40 because we have decided to wait a bit before getting and trying to keep lvl 5 mine..

Any reason you missed out NIN army?
At the time of this post they have 2,756,382 prestige, calculating by your method.

I actually just did this for the old top two alliances on s71. I do miss the old rankings, but the new alliance war feature is pretty awesome in some respects. It should be interesting watching these numbers as alliances grow. I'm sure given enough time the top alliances will rise as competition for mines steepens.
