Turret Takedown

My friends have told me that they have used catapults to take down level 10 turrets. I thought that this was suicide but when they said that they sustained no losses I figured I must investigate. So I came to the forums for help. My speed (all of my tech upgrades are maxed out) at the moment with a level 15 horse with a level 10 enhancement is 157. So my catapults can move forward 143 on each turn in battle. I found out the hard way that my speed is too slow.
So does any one know what the minimum speed is for taking down level 10 turrets with no losses?

Yes but rather than tell, I opt to teach you how to figure it out.

Your modified speed rating (after the effects of attributes and equipment) is equivalent to how far you move on the battlefield. 

Your modified speed rating should thusly be 99.

Obviously, with everyone having different tech levels and equipment the minimum speed will be different for most people. Use this guideto determine your modified speed rating and figure out how many point need to be allocated to the speed attribute to take turrets.

P.S.
Why do you need a modified speed of 99? Answer that, and you'll have answered your own question.....

in this before i waste hundreds of coins figuring it out do you mean to move forwrd 99 spaces??
been searching for hours looking for this lol

m = s * (1 + a/100 + t * 3 / 100 )

m = movement of unit
s = base speed of that unit (50 for catapults)
a = speed attribute points
t = tech level

You need m to be either 98 OR 99

s is equal to 50 for catapults

t = 10 for max marching tech

equation becomes

99 = 50 * (1 + a/100 + .3)
99 = 50 * (1.3 + a/100)

Solve for a. I don't have a calculator.

Put a as your attribute points.


Please note that this makes your speed MUCH less than most opponents so while you may hit their wall with no losses they will destroy your troops with first hit.

They may or may not have troops. But at least we know how to clear a turret wall with no losses.

the same formula is similar for lvl 9 turrets also, only you want a *cough* different number for you max speed

Another question similar to turrets, with new updates, can max speed cavalry reach turrets round 1?

Thanks just didn't know of you ment base
Stat or movement...

max cav can still not hit I believe they move
Roughly 1050 spaces not 100%
