Speed skills calculator!?

Hi... Fairly new to using cavs...

All I need is a speed skill calc.

How far will my cav travel per speed skill.

Speed 20... Cav travel length
Speed 40... ". "
Speed 80
Speed 145..

About 30 speed will get you 15 mins for a 5 min away place

Cavalry travel twice as fast as infantry.

So if an infantry got there in 10 mins, and cav could get there in 5

and cats are double infantry

I meant in battle..

100+45 speed + max march tech cavs travel 825

If cavs travel at max 825 in battle, what's the breakdown?
Speed 20 , 40, 60, 80, 100, 120

If I understand the question correctly, I believe I have the answer. (this isn't necessarily correct, just what I think is right)

Normal speed for a cav is 300, if you add the speed skill (let's say 20), it's now at 320, then the marching tech come into play, so the equation with level one marching is: 300 + 20 = 320. Then to put the tech in: 320 * 1.03 = 329.6, or 330. So you would move 330 spaces in battle with one cavalry. Also, remember that the party with higher speed, gets the attack priority and hits first, dealing more damage.

Perhaps you are both incorrect.

FAQs state very clearly that every point in your Speed attribute counts as a +1% to your unit's speed, not a point for point addition. Assuming max everything (100 + 45 + 30%)...

300 + 145% = 735
735 + 30% = 955.5

That is, of course IF the % from attribute and tech are added separately. If the %es are cumulative, meaning 175% rather than 145% + 30%, the total would be 825 as Elz suggested (which I think is the correct value, 955.5 seems a bit high).
