extreme prestige taking

ok so many times I have been attacked while recovering from other with only like 100 infantry or something when someone attacks me with 1000+ infantry and 1000+ cats and take about 1000 prestige from me. I thought the prestige taken from attack was calculated on ratio of troops and things like that.

Is he a lower level? If a low level wins against a higher level, they get more prestige than usual.

Re: extreme prestige taking

While you rebuild, keep your troops out hunting. This will give others less reason to attack you. Good luck! :)

That too, of course. I once slaughtered this one guy's troops, then several days later, I go back to find he is accumulating troops at base, not sending them hunting! I probably don't have to say what I did next :lol: .

I don't think it works like that Techno. In an attack you get prestige as follows per troop killed:

Inf = 1
Cav = 4
Archer = 2
Cat = 10

That is the base. So if you are a level 2 and attack a level 15 and kill 100 cats and take zero losses (that's important) then you get 1000 prestige (100 x 10). In the same way, if you are a level 15 and you attack a level 2 and kill 100 cats and again take zero losses (again...zero losses is important in this), then you also get the same 1000 prestige (100 x 10).

Where level comes into play is when there are losses on both sides in the fight. Then there is a formula that calculates prestige based on a factor that does reduce prestige gained by the higher level player if he won the fight, but it won't increase prestige gained by a lower level player if he wins the fight. I'm sure someone will post the formula on here soon, but its in the haypi FAQs on their website or on your device in the help section if you want to go see the formula.

Re: extreme prestige taking

Yeah, here's the battle formula from www.haypi.com:

Q: How does war prestige work?
A: When a battle is over, the winning party gains war prestige (>=0), and the losing party loses war prestige (<=0).
When war prestige drops to the lowest number of your title, it won't drop any more.

Ware prestige=A-R*B
A stands for the losing party's loss
B stands for the winning party's loss
R stands for a weighting coefficient. The coefficient is included in calculating battle losses when one party is of much stronger than the other in a battle.

Considering the battle may be easier for the stronger party and tougher for the other party, each party's prestige will be adjusted by a coefficient so that the stronger party can not take full advantage of the one-sided battle and the other party won't suffer from sheer defeat. If both parties are of the same level, the coefficient is 1. In doing so, Haypi Kingdom encourages the weaker party challenging the stronger and avoids the stronger monopolizing.

------

So, yes, a higher level / person with a huge army will not win as much prestige as they could. But the last sentence seems to hint at some sort of bonus for attacking higher levels.
