Why can't alliances have as many members as they want?

I agree if we could hav as many people as we want that would suck a lot one clan have 3000 members it be boring.

Hello Haypi people Invite to any and all .., I have created a temporary alliance that will last about 9 days for the perpose of hlping other players lvl up and learn tricks to grow fast in server 53 Also ofcouse have some fun. Any are welcone to join S53HelpR 

I think it is 50 because the players and the leaders are the only ones keeping an alliance strong, 50 players is just enough to donate resources so the troops do not starve and the leader can manage an army.
