Re: PVP Suggestion

i highly doubt haypi is starving for money... because they have like 75 servers... and with each server probly bringing in $5000 a month thts 375,000 a month... divided by 14 employees thts 26,785 a month... 26,785*12 and thts 321,420...a heck of a lot more then i make a year... the average american worker makes only $35062... so haypi employees could make almost 10x tht amount... now i know this isnt all income but still i think haypi makes a good profit

Re: PVP Suggestion

well 14 employees i believe its nearer 100 ( including developers etc remember it is not haypi Inc not just haypi kingdom) and they make heap loads more than 5k a month per server just from what i see

What in the world are you talking about? lol, do you just pull sh*t out of the air to blatently make up stuff?

How old are you dude?

I've worked in the IT industry for over 10 years and can tell you that infrastructure and operational costs are not high at all. Especially where this business is based.

My point was basically that the money people spend in PVP FAR exceeds the prizes given out. Ever since they released the enhancement of items, the money spent has obviously increased even more. However, the last two competitions have had much less participation. I think that if the staff re-evaluates it's prize layout, more people will participate and as such, spend more money on coins.

When I get home from work, I'll throw out some numbers regarding what people have spent just in the competition currently going on now. This has been the slowest one I've seen yet, and still money spent far exceeds prizes.

I'm finished with PVP and mostly the game in general so it makes no difference to be honestly, I'm just throwing the idea out there.

Okay .jlo. , everyone has a good point here and I would agree it would be fabulous if they had more expensive, better prizes, but honestly there is no need to be bashing people because of their own opinions. Just saying, no harm intended. Does it matter the age of the person when they offer an opinion? Really?

Great, I never said they were high.

And I already suggested maybe they could base it off how much they need in profit for each PvP specifically.

A) There's no way of knowing the amount of money they make in a PvP unless you work for Haypi or have hacked into the game.
B) I already pointed out why they need profit, if they spent as much money on prizes as they made from the competition, then the econimical purpose of the competition would be gone.

Hope you stop all ganging up and hating on me about this. :D

Hello :) You're right, my apologies for being abrasive. When he said "there are at least 14 workers", that is a statement of fact. Just sayin' babe. And yes, sorry, age does matter. If it's just some kid on an internet forum speculating about what it takes to run an application shop, well you have to know the context.

Why ignore this question?

You flat out said "there are at least 14 total workers" in reference to PVP. I'm telling you that's WRONG. And it is high. Maybe if you include the janitor that sweeps the dust bunnies off the data center floor.

Of course they would, why would they do different? I was simply offering my 2 cents about how to better increase player participation, offer better prizes, and increase profitability.

Sure, there's no way of knowing. However, with the scout reports now showing enhancement levels, I can give a minimum number of coins spent on enhancements. Also, I've played enough of these to give a conservative estimate of coins purchased for top 6 bro trust me.

Meh, not sure I agree. Even if they break even, which they won't do........I think it would generate interest that people would spend more on normal servers. That's beside the point, I never suggested they not make a profit.
