If you want to have forty thousand troops overall and manage them correctly, I suggest you get all your crop fields to between lvl 17-20 each, have a planting technique at level ten, and keep at least two level 5+ crop oasis while buying crops around every 120 hours.

If you are upgrading your resource fields to lvl 17-20, Im pretty sure you can afford enhance, and your crop oasis would be level 9. Not level 5+...

40k troops is easy to manage... 400k is where most people hit their max limit

No, he asked how to manage 40k. If you manage 40k, you would only need a few level 5+ oasis.

Make sure that you hace max level 9 oasis and planting to level 10. And get your crop mines to at least lvl 15.

I understand you can keep large armies. I have, honestly, not seen a "massive" army yet. But for the guys in old servers, who have been playing what seems like an eternity to me, what is the feed period for you guys? Plus for massive armies, you really cant support it as easily as the guide points out. How do you find the crop for it?

Also, do you guys have more than lvl 15 crop in subs? Isn't that a waste since subs can be stolen. I have subs at lvl 15 and am enhancing them only for a day at a time, to prevent the competitor from gaining added advantage in case it gets stolen.

farming inactives daily, feedcycles are down to 4 hours with some peoplle. they have fully enhanced subs cos they are active enough to protect there subs

Some people set alarms to go off every 4 hours while asleep.. they wake up, buy crop and go back to sleep again.

Insane! How many hours do people play? Its rad but I like sleeping. Sleeping above everything! lol

And how do you get money to constantly buy crop off of market? Our market price atm is 0.06. pretty expensive to feed at 4 hour window, no?

well they only buy from the market on the one time they wake up to feed and farm the rest of the crop they need
