Re: Why wont Haypi Listen to us?

Change in Gameplay since release: (that I've noticed)

* Reduced the number of cities a player can build from 1 per title to 1 per 3 titles.

* Added coin requirements for level 15+ resources, which did not require coins at first.

* Server upgrade which limited the glitch people used to duplicate treasures

* Removed friendly fort farm which caused alot of grief, added more difficulty.

* Reduced the cost of Skill points upgrades.

* Adjusted technology centre, lowered prices for upgrade but also lowered the percentage increase of certain techs.

* Limited market trade slot for players dude to overabuse of market storage, first it was 5, then back to unlimited, then back to 5 and now finally settled on 10.

* Added Moving city function, which completely revolutionized gameplay and how people earned fast prestige.

* Added reset stats and skills function.

* Added Alliance Map feature.

* Added Alliance Letter feature.

* Added level penalty suffered by high level attacking a low level for prestige.

* Added battlefield length indicator.

* Added new task for referral and offered great rewards, this was promptly abused, the reward was eventually adjusted but this marked the first mass account spamming.

* Added change password and email function, which led to a rise in account hacking.

* Completely revamped graphics (which I still don't like, the old style was much simpler and easier to navigate).

* Revamped help section, including forum function.

* Rewrote all the texts inside Haypi to clear out majority of the typos (yes there was hundreds more typos before this.)

* PVP Mode, after 1st pvp concluded, PVP was revamped to include higher starting coins, daily coin purchase limit, shortened beginner protection period and inability to use refuse war. Many more adjustments have been made since.

* Upgraded server and codes to greatly limit the glitch for duplicate army and equipments.

* Optimized codes to make haypi run smoother.

* Added the Earn Free Coins feature.

* Adjusted Hidden Attack, seem to be more effective now than before.

* Adjusted Daily Gift and Hunting to offer better rewards and coins.

* Added support for multitasking.

* Added new task for creating new account.

* Revamped the new player starting point, added new task for name change.

* Gamecentre support and achievement ranking.

There are loads more that I have missed or didn't notice, and a huge amount of bugs have been fixed since the original release was extremely laggy, buggy, easily crashed and chewed up ridiculous amount of system resources.

Haypi have come a long way and while it still needs ALOT of improvement but the gameplay have certainly evolved.

But yes those are alot of improvement that they have made in the game, but they havent changed the Mail system at all, and like all the players want to see some change in that.

Thank you so much for your summarization! Even I myself have not made such a detailed list. Good work!

Re: Why wont Haypi Listen to us?

We value the suggestion(s) of each player but it is impossible to adopt all the ideas into the game, and we also need to evaluate the work load and compatibility of the suggestion. Our dev team are taking efforts to create alliance war which integrates many new elements into the game.

Re: Why wont Haypi Listen to us?

i (we) never said that you guys had to adopt all the ideas into the game.
It would make since if you took like the 5 best ideas that were possible to put into the game and look at them and see what you could do with them.
I mean whats the point of suggesting ideas if you guys arent going to look into putting them into the game?

Re: Why wont Haypi Listen to us?

these:

* Added Moving city function

* Added reset stats and skills function.

* Added Alliance Map feature.

* Added Alliance Letter feature.

Are the only ones in that list that I think could be considered real new things to gameplay.

And since the reset stats are a minor thing, alliance map, moving city and alliance letter.

In almost 1 year, coin-payers have gotten 3 new gameplay feature(s).
In almost 1 year, non coin-payers have gotten 1 new gameplay feature(s).

In about 6 months, maybe more,

Non coin-payers have gotten 0 new gameplay feature(s).
Coin-payers have gotten 0 new gameplay feature(s).

Re: Why wont Haypi Listen to us?

I honestly dont think its too much.
Would you rather work hard and add something to the game to make it more interesting that alot of its players want to see, or not try and add the new feature and lose money because the game is getting boring for alot of the players?
And yea alot of the things that they have added to the game, as not improved the game and changed the gameplay at all.
All of those things above are just little things that they have done, to where, we can reset are stats and try different ways of doing things, able to move around and stuff. I mean not very many people buy an alliance map at all, and the alliance letter is nice, but like it didnt do anything to the game, it just made it easier to spread news around to our members.
And Daily Gifts are still horrible, there worse then before. I keep getting like 1-3K in money for daily gifts, while i see others get nuggets, 10 coins, 30 coins and all of that. I get crappy Daily gifts, but i really dont care.

Instead of just adding little features they should add something new into the game thats a big deal, rather than these little tiny things.

I love Haypi and all and im not bashing it or anything, its just there has been so many great ideas suggested to Haypi but none of them seem to get recognized and put into the game. Thats all im saying.
