Re: Is Haypi Kingdom dead?
As it stands, this game has been around longer than I ever expected...it's amazing that a game on our phones has lasted so long. If and when haypi closes the doors on this game, it will have been a major success.
Protests are in violation of the TOS, though players have tried to organize such things in the past. Lack of vision seems to be the common theme in such undertakings and thus far no real success has been achieved.

I don't think we're ever gonna see the type of change that many people want. Not sure what that means, everyone wants to see a little something different from the rest, but let's say we'd like to see more dialogue from the developers, or more frequent gameplay tweaks or maybe some news in that dang burning tower my fire department hasn't been able to extinguishfor the last 3 weeks.
I don't think any of this will happen, and what reason do I have to believe otherwise? Haypi has never conceded to us anymore than they felt was necessary and they've always worked at their pace, not ours. In light of this, they've been quite successful so what would motivate them to change their winning ways?
Truth is, they always have been consistent in the fact that they update the game, be it once every 8 months or every month. Apparently they are working on something new for the game, and while I doubt it'll be enough to get me back into the game, I'm sure they're not feeding is a line when they say it.
I believe the idea here, as is the case with most video games, is that it is what it is. Nothing more or less. This much I doubt will ever change.
