its definately how recently an oases has been hunted in as i have done similar tests and got random results each time with one time 2 lvl 9 iron oases and got a difference in 5k money in the hunt differences

Hunting prestige, you get prestige from hunting but it's not alot. From what I remember as I did the calculations a while back I think the prestige usually came out to about .02% the value of what you recieve from your hunt, so 10,000 gold would give you about 200 prestige. This is not for sure accurate but from what I remember that's what it came out to approximately.

That's right, for every $50 you make from a hunt, you get one prestige. It isn't a good thing to rely on for prestige though, for that train cats and inf.

I also found that out the hard way -.- it was on one of my old accounts that I rarely go on... my inf had returned from hunting because you can only hunt them for less than 10 days and somebody had killed them.

I notice you can't hunt on an enemy's oases. If your troops are hunting an oases and it becomes occupied by an enemy do your troops go home?
