Is Haypi Kingdom dead?
What they need to do is start FILLING UP THE SERVERS at the beginning instead of taking about a a week to fill em up then going on to the next one. The game moved way slower in the beginning of the game and the servers were more active. Having more and more servers also makes it take longer for merges to happen. This new update might bring the game alive again.

Really Legit? What level of player did they get rid of? All the really low levels and a bunch of Ha's.
I think "Merges aren't doing anything but wasting space with more inactive players on a server" Is true. HIGH LEVEL inactives. You can get rid of all the level 1-4's you want, and it will still feel inactive. Because the amount of low level inactives doesn't effect people a great deal. You don't scout real low levels, you don't farm real low levels, unless your low level yourself. The higher level players do feel like the server is more full of inactives because of the amount of HIGH level inactives.
High level inactives in general have more cities, take up more space and create more alts for people to abuse and for us to deal with. Who's going to abuse a level 3 inactive? They are worthless. But you put this many high level inactives on one server and you get all sorts of trouble.
Also, I agree. I want change in the game. I want support to seem like they are at least listening. I want real communication. Maybe an announcement every month or so just giving ideas of what they are considering or working on. Something so we know WHY we are waiting. I'm personally sick of waiting and feeling ignored. Give me a reason to wait, and I'll wait without complaint. Ignore me and don't talk to us, and we will become pains in the you know what. That's not a threat, just common sense on how humans work.
Exactly

Re: Is Haypi Kingdom dead?
Thought I would pop in to see if HK has done anything in the past few months to improve the game. By the sound of things, they have only done server merges. Ethan445 is generally correct in that server merges have limited effect. The server will be active for a week, maybe 2 and then fall back into the slump it was in prior to the merge.
If I had to give an opinion on why HK is dead, it would be that the last update was back in December. While most games evolve, HK seems to enjoy stagnation.

Re: Is Haypi Kingdom dead?
I agree, we havent had a major change in a long time, but support i about to start beta testing some new ideas. Hopefully this will be the next big change that we have been looking forward to. Thanks for finally giving us a new update! Im just worried about it changing some of the basics of the game that i really liked. Hopefully it will be mostly additions and only a few changes.

A server never actually closes, HK just restrict the flow of new account's into specific servers. New accounts filter into S117 (which includes S1) all the time, however looking at top 50 and starting at 0 must be soul destroying.

Ressurecting this thread.
Yes it's now virtually dead, I can't see how HK are actually making money now on some servers.

C'mon Rico. No more cool boy
Villan is right, HK is dead. That's why this topic hasmoore views and replies than about any other topic.
It needed resurrecting. It was worthy of haypi's attention.

The topic may have a lot of views, but haypi will never die as long as people are still saying this:
It's old, it's cold, but it's still gold.

My question is (Thomas, are u listening?) ; has Haypi kingdom become just a maintained game that you keep running to reap whatever income you can, while you can? I understand that us "older players" can be a huge pain in the "you know what" because we were here from the beginning. But the fact is, however pathetic it may be, that we ARE still here. Waiting. And we have asked, no, begged for changes and suggested ways to improve the game (you USED to listen to us). Now, we feel ignored. I understand that you may have moved on, and that's ok. We will move on as well, I think we just need to hear you say that you will no longer be making improvements to Haypi. Just say it, and we can deal with that. But don't string us along anymore, please.
I think what the issue is that Haypi Inc. is so worried about messing up anymore. Obviously troop duping, treasure duping, coin glitching and things of that sort want to be avoided, because people who know of it or how to do it have a serious advantage over others. Have you ever seen 3 million cavs marching towards your city? I have, and that player was banned over a year ago for it. Have you ever seen an SS of 68k coins? I have, and that player has been banned for nearly a year. Ever seen 100 crowns, 400 scepters, 1k nuggets and multiple other treasures all at once? I have, and that player was ALSO banned. The point is not to ban players, but to hang on to them. People that strive so far as to find a way to cheat would strive just as far to afford to pay for coins to reach the same goal.
