While the gold and sliver boxes my have sucked according to some people they are cheap in comparison and didn't change the game. Plus you can just sell to npcfor 20-40k. Enhancements were however the first step down. The difference being !!! There is an end to enhancements. Once you hit lvl 20 you are done. There is no end to mines. Same boring thing over and over, same amount of money, same amount of crops... Etc.

There may be an end to enhancements and not to donations, but not donating to an alliance you can still be as powerful a player as those who do, unlike in the case of enhancements. And don't say alliances are key and none will let you in without donations, because there are plenty of alliances on Server 113 that are anti-Alliance Wars and donations.

I agree. It got worse with the enhancement where 1/3 of the troops need to attack.

I am quite new. I have not seen the older pp system but I would like to sighn the petition tto bring back the old pp system
