Help Pls, Glitched? Could I possibly get compensation?

I don't mean to cry, but this is a little unfair since I don't have any control over what happened, or else there would have been no troops in my city.


This afternoon I accidentally attacked an empty city, evanchoi with 2976 infantry and 1064 cats.
I lost 72 troops from traps.
The end result was

I checked my city and none of my troops were there, I was stuck at 0,0,0,0
I checked my forts subs oasises and hunts. My 2904 inf and 1064 cats just disappeared nowhere to be found.
My crop output also went from like -6k to 9k (not exact numbers)
I asked around WC and they told me to letter support. So I took that into mind and planned to letter support when I had time. I figured I could send a letter to support and they would just send my troops back for me.
2 hours later I come back and check Haypi and notice some troops in city( not the ones I trained), totally confused I checked my letters. Here I got a disturbing War Report From: System 2011-05-29 18:41:46
End Result was

Since it was not my fault and I DID check up on my city and would have hunted my troops or attacked a fort etc if my troops existed.. I was hoping I could get compensated for my 7234 prestige and my 2671inf and 1050cats any thoughts? :/
(Go easy, I'm pretty new and thus this was the bulk of my entire army)

U either starved or the server was lagging and your troops returned late

Most likely the server lagged. If you'd restarted the app you could have saved them. Please email support on kingdomsupport@Haypi.com if you wish to find a resolution

I wasn't starved or else the troops would have just died and I wouldn't have gotten attacked. I did restart the app. I restarted the phone twice and nothing changed. I lettered support and they said
"Hello, Thanks for your letter and sorry for the inconvenience.We have checked for you and found your opponent can command the war,so we can't add the troops to your account,hope you understand."

So I guess I don't get any compensation.. It just sucks is all
