Enhancement Stones - don't understand how they work

Hello,

i enhanced my lvl 5 manual to level 5 adding 15% to each attribute.
As 15% of 5 (lvl 5 manual) is 0,75 i thought it will add one point, so the manual would give +6 instead of +5.
But when i take off the manual, 5 points get removed. When i tap the manual to see the info i still see 5 for each attribute. So it seems the enhancement does nothing.

Do i need to enhance it until it gets +1,xxx to add the point? Thought it gets rounded.

I searched the forums but didn't find an answer.

PS: i plan to enhance my lvl 10 ring, that's why i ask before i use lots of stones to do this

i believe from the sound of it that the enhancements are always rounded down. so you would need over +1 on you enhancementts meaning you will need to enhance further.

if you want some advance dont enhance equipment till you have lvl 15 equipment or a level 10 ring as enhancing low level equipment seems rather pointless

2% of 5 attribute points is alot less than 2% of 15 attribute points.

Yeah, dont weaste your stones on enhancing anything below a lvl 10 ring, or lvl 15 manual, armor etc.

Thx guys, that did it. Enhanced my lvl 10 ring, +8% has no effect, +10% does add one point
To bad my lvl 5 manual is enhanced to 18% atm, lots of stones used for nothing.

Yeah so verified enhancements round down to the nearest whole number

I bet it's worth a lot to the npc though so when you sell it you'll get good cash
