THE SECRET OF ALLIANCE WARS

Well, I've finally figured out why alliance wars is so special. What boggles me is the fact that so many haypi generals have yet to think outside the box and figure it out.

What I want you to do, is think about why the developers may have named this expansion 'alliance wars' and then think about what an alliance war is. Combine this with the necessity of alliance donations, multiply it by the fact that wr does not cut into alliance pres gain and divide by the amount of cities you can steal from any given alliance and you'll be close to the answer.

Extra credit for the general who can tell me what the REAL purpose of a mine is.....until you do that, you are doomed to lie at the bottom of the ranks....

The reason for naming it alliance wars: it takes a whole allaince to build up an army to fight the other alliances. Without donations, you don't get an army. So in essence this expansion truly epitomizes the word "alliance". You must all work together to reach a goal.
Technically you can steal cities from an alliance through their members, and possibly hurting the contribution that member makes.
Individual play is still important in alliance wars. Going to war with an alliance outside of the mine tab can allow you to wipe players in that alliance. Once again this hurts contribution.
I would say the point of owning a mine is to say that you have an alliance that is truly an alliance, one whose players (for the most part) think of the alliance before themselves.
That is my 2 cents.

mines=main form of gaining alliance prestige

your alliance prestige> everyone elses alliance prestige

hence alliance wars

but im now to confused to work the rest out

alliance wars were not only a game stand but a business stand.

We make it where they have to work together then they donate.
and what will make the alliance better faster......... coins and what do coins cost....... money. Thats right haypi has a great busniess stand in the alliance wars.

I'm probably wrong but I thought the goal of alliance wars was to catch the hermit that lives in 1 of the 20 caves. He is supposed to be seen at 00:00 gmt. Anyone caught or seen him???
