Need hunting help from the experts

I'm looking for ways to optimize my return on hunting and wondered if a y one could answer some of my questions or direct me to a really good guide on hunting

First off, does the level of the oasis have any bearing on your hunt? So far I'd guess no but wondered what others have experienced.

Second, which unit or combo produces the best return from a hunt? Or are they equal? I been told to pair inf and cavs together and archers and cats but is the first combo hunt better than the second or are they equil as well.

Third, about 50% of the time I seem to get nothing from a hunt. This likely from the oasis having been just hunted from another player. Is there any way to tell if an oasis has just been hunted before I waste my armies time there? And how long does it take for an oasis to recover?

If I hunt for 5 min, harvest and get a return (or not), is this an accurate way to tell? Can I return immediately to hunt for a long period of time or does that 5 min count as the oasis being hunted out and now needs that recovery time?

2. I'd do inf/cav. Then put all cats/arch you have on a other hunt.

3. Never pick a place you've hunted before if you can. I'd hunt in low level oasis. People don't hunt in low level oasis as much so the odds of it being hunted before are less likely.

I agree, with an added note that since some/most? people believe high level oasis yield the most, they are also more likely to have been recently hunted, unless you owned it for a long time.
