Lingo question

Dear fellOw player
Who here thinks speaking a question in a different language is a mutable offence but aparently it is if nobody at the time understand u
This has happened to me and my freinds despite the new all languages capacity
This is particularly targetted against those of arabic/Pakistani origin due to as the soliders -ja there are alot of military personell on this game ain't there- no one understands then and no one should have to so they get reported and subsequently blocked which is completely wrong on many levels
It is no longer up to the expert to be a expert if his/her job is dictated by player who hold a grudge on a online game with people they will never meet

-please note I am not insulting any military personell via this post only stating the fact that it happens far to often

    Re: Lingo question

  Yes I know about screen shot and all that and I do :) I just thaught I would raise the subject on behalf of my fellow international players And yes you guessed correctly I am infact german so that is why I say ja even if I am speaking English but that is more of a habit people genially get the gist
English is actually my worst language out of 10 so it gets hard and frustrating sometimes but thanks fot the heads up
And I know American military as well as others can expeience a grudge any nation that has experienced an act of terrorism but on a game seriously and towards a child it is hardly right and or in the military codex to go ape to a innocent civilian child I myself am not in the military so no I can't say how it is for a solider but i am a police rider for the hanstád Bremen in Germany and have seen my fair share of cruelty Amd atracities arround the world and for a 18 years of age girl -not like me being a girl has nada to do with it- I feel only anger toward the people who did it ie military so I see from both sides
Don't see how they cN think attacking a kid who speaks only affable and turkish can make anything better oh and openly calling them terrorists even as a joke ja

In the old days, experts had the authority to mute foreign languages if no more than three people were speaking it in wc.

I don't know if this is still a rule, but I reckon if you're being muted for speaking other languages, it is.

I think the decision to do this was based on the fact that experts could not accurately monitor these chats for rulebreaking, as they could not understand the language.

          Re: Lingo question

It is perfectly fine to speak a different language in WC.

However, chat rules still apply. Experts have to translate what you've said, and if they find somthing that is breaking the rules they will warn for it. Plus, since the expert doesn't know the language, he could see somthing that looks like it is breaking the rules, when to someone who knows the language it really isn't, but the expert has no way to tell and therefore must warn for it.

It would be more considerate to the expert, and other players, that if you are talking in a different language to only one other person to take it to PM, but that is entirely your choice.

If you are being muted/warned for just talking in a different language, then take SS's and send them to kingdomsupport@haypi.com

This was my post in expert nomination room

Personally, i don't have any issue with any expert and i think they are doing their job.
I only would like to say it could be useful to have someone able to understand some others languages than english.
I explain: a lot of players using world chat in my server, (107) know i speak french and i understand well english, german, some italian and spanish.

Things must be clear, i don't ask for being expert, but all french users are coming to me now asking tips or others things about the game, some german too. That's a good thing because "non english talkers" are coming out of their respective alliance chat ant it keep the server alive.

The bad thing is i see often players using others language in the only goal of avoiding filter because they know our experts are not able to understand.

It's why i think it could be a good thing to have someone able to understand something esle than english. ( by the way, same thing for support )

Ps. This post could be in "suggestion" topic but i think it's better to post it here.
