how to feed big armies

how doe you feed your troups - i got LV 15 crops in my main and 3 LV9 Oasis,
and on the point it is not enough anymore - well i know, that i cant go on
with lv 16 - 20 (but ech 15-16 cost 10 coins! (like you know) and perhaps it si getting evean more expansiv form 16-17???
so how can you manage big armies? i farm the fort (to LV 5 now) wich brings me alot (100.000 crop) but does that mean you have to have negative crop/h
for big armie or diviede it to the subs and only unit for attacks?

maybe there are more ways to go - just wonna know how i should go on now

1. Upgrade crop buildings as much as possible.
2. Study planting tech as much as possible.
3. Occupy crop oases to max and use fort farming for other resources.
4. Enhance crop output.

General tips;
Move your cities to a farm friendly area and farm as much as is worth it with available civilians. Continue to sell all excess wood, iron and stone to stock up money for crops.
Set alarms on your device to alert you before your crops hit 100k and buy more from the market then reset your alarms again.
Keep 8 or more slots of max crops in the market at max price to store for unexpected situations.

you can build branch next to each other and upgrade the crop building to 15.
Then split the troops to each branch and share the crop of feeding.
Watch out when you have war with someone. They attack your crop oasis and your crop become negative output. That's why you build branch next to each other. Some ppl do that. Not everybody has coin to enhance the output.

i keep small armies less hassle

spread out your army... only make a big one when needed. Buy crop from the market. I had 25k cavs and was lvl 14... until i got starved... and then starved myself... i had alll lvl 15 oases.

For me, even with all level 9 crop oasis occupied by my main city, I still have -18k crop output. That's why I decided to split up my troops to my branch cities. It is very helpful if you do this as it'll spread the hurt out instead of focusing on your main city.

big armies=less sleep so i spread out my army over my 5 cities, lvl 20 crop in one 15 in others...then if i need to hit a big player, combine for that time then spread back out

my crop oasises where not spread good enough so i got starved by a player how killed all my troups when i was sleeping (didnt hear the pushnote)
lost over 23.000 prestige - only luck is that it was not more because the rest starved
well i will now be even more carefully diviede the troups and so on...
and hope the best...

so everyone can speak of his biggest lost and how it happens,
sure the are bigger losts than mine - but for me - its like the Ende with no return... we´ll see - your on my list guy!!!!

but i dont think hes scared - better not make him angry
