How do I farm a level 1 fort for resources?
Re: Farming forts- how?
You need atleast 250 cats and 1k inf (probably less) make sure you command the battle and put your troops on wait, on the third turn set your cats to attack the archers so you won't take any losses. To know how many cats you need for each fort divide the inf the fort has by 10. If your techs are low you'll probably need a bit more.. Hope this helped :p

Re: Farming forts- how?
-First make sure the fort has resources aka hasn't been farmed recently.
-Take the resources and divide them by your infantry*80 and your cavalry*100. (those numbers are their carrying capacity) Also add in your cats*40 and archers*40. These 4 numbers combined will tell you how many resources you can carry.
-Remember you start with a +20 in attack so that's +10% added to your cats attack. (you get .5% per point in attack and defense and a 1% added per point in speed) Meaning +30 attack. Infantry in forts are basic infantry. So 150 health plus 75 defense is 225. You are left with 105 after killing one.
-Your first turn, move forward. You will hit cavalry, turn two-infantry if you killed all of the cavalry, turn3, as pimpman said, kill archers, turns after that focus on their cats. Every turn that cats are not in range, you will automatically attack the closest unit, in this case the infantry. Make sure any other troops you brought with you stay in the back row. Do NOT move forward on turn 1 if you are facing a high level fort as you will get hit by turrets. In fact, all forts above lv 8 need to have the turrets cleared by a cavalry/archer setup for minimal losses.
-The field range will be the highest range on the field+range tech+300, so in low fort level attacks, that will be your cats+your range tech+300. Say you have max range tech, that means the field for a level one fort will be 1260. The infantry will move 150 per round so it will take the infantry about 9 turns to reach you. Your first turn will be hitting any cavalry there are, the third turn is hitting the archers, it takes catapults 6 turns to cross that extra 300 field length so on turn seven you'll be hitting the forts cats. Means you have about 6 turns to kill the infantry. If you have no sword, manual, or attack tech then your basic attack is 330(natural +20 attack mentioned before). Take the amount of infantry in a fort, divide it by 6 and then divide that result by 330. That's about how many catapults you will need. If you have a minimal shooting tech, you should move forward more. If it is decent you may not have to move. Your cats get an additional 16 range per level. If you have any range at all, then your cats are determining field range. Remeber that every time you move your cats forward and the forts cats are automatically moving forward, that's 100 closer to their cats hitting you while you are targeting other units.

Thank you:)
One more question: How many troops to farm a lvl 1 fort one time if your techs are low? are 50/130/0/180 enought?

Re: Farming forts- how?
I'd say go with around 20% catapults of the infantry at the fort. To be safe.
(plus the inf/Cav for looting resources)

Re: Farming forts- how?
Why does everyone assume forts can only be farmed with cats?
Send about 1800 cavs if you have low tech/stats to a lvl 1 fort and dont command, i can send 1600 and lose 4 on the entire fort

Re: Farming forts- how?
With good range and decent attack you could beat the fort, but you would need almost 1,500 more infantry before you can raid the entire thing in one hit
