Landscape

On Haypi's home page, it shows a device in landscape mode. It should probably either be upright, or we should be able to use landscape mode while playing the game.

Maybe my iPod is whack or something, but I can't get haypi to go into landscape mode.

Re: Landscape

Landscape mode isn't available. The artist renditions on the website are just that, artist renditions. They were made to fit the image of the iPhone/iPod in a landscape view.

It's been suggested before and last I asked Thomas about it he had no plans to allow landscape mode to be used.

Re: Landscape

That doesn't seem very fair to iOS users, when I know for a fact that Android users of the game DO have a landscape mode. I would very much like to see a Landscape option for iOS. It shouldn't be that hard to accomplish, just a few lines accessing the accelerometer APIs.

Re: Landscape

Landscape mode has basically no use, it would just get annoying if you accidentally flipped your iDevice and kept switching from landscape to portrait

Re: Landscape

I'm fine with no landscape mode. But I think the website should be changed to reflect the true aspect of the game. I understand it an "artist's rendition," but still, it is misleading. Oh, and while I'm nitpicking the website, I noticed several places that still refer to the game as an Iphone only game. I know none of these are a big deal, but think it would be more professional if Haypi updated their site to match current facts.

Sorry if I sound like a pain in the rear, but little things like that nag at me lol.
