I do kinda find this ^^ funny considering your sig..

But, on the subject..

The most effective experts I have seen were the ones who used muting as little as possible. They were the ones who were always active, helpful, and respectful of all players in chat. Maybe ironically, it was also people who didn't really want the job in the first place.

My point is, if people don't respect you in the first place, a mute ain't gonna do nothing. The more people you help and are nice to, the greater respect you will earn.

actually reporting shouldnt be a last resort if you have enough ss usually around 7-10 is enough. people always push the limits and get two warnings then leave chaat upoon fear of getting muted, these people who push the limits are still breaking the rules. its all in relation to the situation but thats a rough guide lol

i lost expert a few weeks ago and i can still warn people on chat and they stop cussing. i respect them they respect me sometimes a friendly warning from a player can do good if the player has first earned the respect of the server rather than just trying to warn people at the begining, respect must be earned by both experts and players before they can moderate chat at all
