I still don't think this would work. Would be very complex to get an idea like this to function fairly. Many people are in several servers, and say if they had an alliance in two, those could work together to try to make another win. Don't think it would really be fair.

Yah it is very complex and might not be worth looking into now that I realize all the code and labor it would take to get it workin for no potential gain but as I said before the ally comp would be in the actual server not a separate one like pvp is so it would be server based not separate. Also we may have just made a crucial point as it would create enemies and allies to help eachother win. I will respond later as I am going to go play zombiez
In the same server? That could easily be abused. An alliance with many allies could be helped from others in an attempt for them to win instead of others. You might as well just attack and fight in your current server to see who will become the best.

Defeated, you're thinking of it as a pvp competition. There is no hunting or anything. Imagine it like a list of alliances that are around the same strength level and you click on one to fight. The list would only show alliances that have their current representative online. That player would get a notification of battle and have a time limit to join the battle and if they don't their troops don't get commanded and can be defeated by the other player. It would take a long time to create such a competition and yes it is complex but the benefits of it would be great for the game.
