Log off message- Chat

it may be but its still unnecesary really if it sent that message to all your friends i suspect that my pm would be full and would spam out important messages. people log on and off constantly it would be too much effort and also could give your enemies a tactical advantage if you talk to them in pm

Only people on both friends lists. And just a small thing, just so they know not to send 300 messages for no reason

yes but that happens i have like 150 200 people on my friend list who also have me added, i dont want to delete them all just so i can go offline. and i usually talk to around 5-10 people each time im online, i just dont support this suggestion

How is informing your friends your iPods just died or something spam? I know how annoying a flat battery can be and people think your online. Pm is a place it is needed

maybe you could just say "hey, my ipods dying. ttyl" its tells you when the battery is low so there is no reason for it to just happen. and it will spam.

Instead of having it post messages in chat why not just have a section of the chat screen listing the players currently logged into chat like a lot of chatnrooms do

It would just spam chat with "xxx has logged off" and will become very annoying.

I too agree with K2/R2/N2 whatever it is you want me to call you... Ah here we go... I too agree with 2700 that it would get very annoying over time, it could be added as a simple red light green light next to the username for if the person is on chat currently maybe?

Yet chat this would cause problems for people offline and online in chat. People would go into chat for 2 seconds see who is online/offline recently go back and attack.

Instead of sending a chat message how about having a box in the chat screen that lists the people currently in the chat room. And it could just list people who are actually in the chat screen, not just online, that way people still wouldnt have too much of an advantage because even if somebody wasnt on the list they still may be online
