War Refuse "Opt out"

So after playing haypi for some time now, i have a quick suggestion in regards to war refuse. First one is the "opt out" suggestion. Give players the option to opt out of wr. Of course make it to where it would cost coins, because if it they want to spend coins to go into wr, for whatever reason, they should have to spend coins to get out of it early. Also, more than two options on wr. For example, a 6 hour wr, 24 hour, 48 hours, 72 hours. Some players go on vacation for a weekend and do no have cell or internet connection where they go so they go wr for 5 days, and then when they get back they still have 2 days worth of wr. Just a suggestion for haypi to consider, but im sure several with agree and of course there will be some to disagree, there are always people that disagree. Thank you.

Re: War Refuse "Opt out"

Yea definitely good idea. I don't go into wr often but others do and find it a pain that if they go into wr at night they have to wait 12hrs to get out of it

Re: War Refuse "Opt out"

Ummmm definatly no.

If you let people go out of war refuse for a few coins, you get the top players in war refuse forever, and then they just drop it when they wanna wipe someone, so unless you wanna put the gap between coin buyers and non coin buyers more, this shouldn't be added. It would essentially give players full immunity but they could still attack people whenever they wanted.

As for different times, I like the 12 hr or 5 day WR. Simply because I see war refuse as more of a cowardly function and hate it when people use it

Re: War Refuse "Opt out"

Nick is exactly right. For extreme coiners, they can strike with no retaliation any time they want, gaining loads of prestige with no challengers to their attacks.

I see your point, that it can be a little annoying the way war refuse is at the moment, but in general it does keep you from being attacked while away, which is more important than being not on war refuse for a couple days after you come back.

Re: War Refuse "Opt out"

I completely agree with EVERYTHING that Nick said.

I know at times some people may go into wr to build for 5 days or whatever and then their alliance ends up in a war and they feel helpless in wr. But in the end there's too many negatives for the positives. There would need to be too many stipulations on it such as needing to wait x amount of time before going back into wr after you opt out and such.

Re: War Refuse "Opt out"

I agree with nicks first point but not the second, more options for war refuse would lead to more active servers
people spend their lives searching for the meaning of life, and fail to find it.

I know what their mistake is. There is not one but two meanings of life:

Re: War Refuse "Opt out"

I feel like if you give more options for war refuse you won't get more active servers, but rather more people on war refuse. Which any attacker hates haha
