New modes of play

I truly enjoy the game Haypi Kingdom, I find that the main objective of rising above the rest is well suited for this type of game. However, it is true that the majority of those in top ranks are constantly purchasing coins. I do not beleive it is fair to say that one player surpasses anothers skill, when it is not skill that surpasses but simply money.

I suggest a new mode of play, Dueling.

Where players of all skill levels and ranks meet to battle. Both players place a wager if they wish, then start the battle. The terrain will not favor one or the other, both players would start with the same number of troops, and in the end it will be skill that decides the winner. The most skilled General will win through tactics and strategy alone. The winner will claim the prize, as well as receive a public mark of his/her victory against the opponent.
And as the seige ended, and the city left aflame, a survivor asked using his last breath, "What is your name?", of the General in Armour of Black...
"I am Lord Rhanock... King of Numo-Ravi."

Re: New modes of play

the point is not to discourage spending money on the game, the point of dueling is to create a contest between players relying on skill, and skill alone. A point of the game to challenge others and grow stronger, a place that favors skill, not a large pocketbook.

FYI, ive spent close to $1,000 on this game, so I'm not biased.

It is very good to hear a coin buyer say this. I wholeheartedly agree.

Re: New modes of play

also, you could place wagers on the outcomes. Say i dueled another player, I put up 20k stone against his 20k wood, and whoever wins takes all

Re: New modes of play

This function may also serve a more fast-paced tournament as opposed to PVP
