Misfortunate Marches

I'm not sure too many people will be to happy about this suggestion, but I think the game would be just a tad bit more realistic if some troops died while on extended marches. I mean you have your troops march for three hours traveling over 200 squares and none die from diesease, fatigue, or freak accidents with stampeding animals? I think fortune levels should have some impact on this. Higher fortune level overt susceptableness to disease, fatigue, and common sense to get out of stampeding animals way. Lower levels of fortune may lead to misfortune during march.
SO, my suggestion is to have some misfortunes during march, and have fortune level make impact on how many (if at all) misfortunes during march, or at least have fortune level impact chance of not having misfortune during marchs.

Opinions? :D

Re: Misfortunate Marches

So you FINALLY find someone with troops out, you have no coins, and then your troops die bc of some random freak accident....then when your healed troops return home, you get city dropped and lose everything....hmmm...
I can't agree with this....

Re: Misfortunate Marches

It seems like you guys don't agree, because of droppers. But that isn't very fair. The point of people getting coins is to have advantages in the game. I don't pay, but I still think this would be more realistic.

Re: Misfortunate Marches

Of course we don't agree! The majority of us who see a hit have to wait 2 hours until our troops arrive. 98% of that time they are hidden after the attack is initiated. I shouldn't have to say more.

Re: Misfortunate Marches

:/ I dont really like the idea, i mean i dont want my hard working troops dying randomly in some accident while marching from anything like a freak robot bear attack!

Re: Misfortunate Marches

We could fight off the ambushes on the way :) for prestige ofc, but imagine all your troops dying of a mysterious plague is devastating. :S

Re: Misfortunate Marches

I don't mean ALL troops die o.o maybe a few? like a 0~100? It is just to make the game more realistic. It also seems like everyone is only seeing this a downfall? Imagine someone attacking you from 5 hours away and they have 10k cats, but then 300 die and you are just able to barely make it through the battle?
