Building troops

like you are training 1k infantry, then you buy more resources and you want to build more infantry but you have to wait 5 hours until its done really sucks because you wont be building up more resources. i think you should be able to queue more than one of the same type of troops being built at once. would really help me. and we also need more advanced battle damage. like say cav beats infantry archers beat cavlry and infantry beats archers. but we need another type of troops to take out catapult so lets say ballistae. a medieval seige weapon that can launch arrows long range but these are flaming arrows.

Use coins to speed it up, it would be too easy if you could train multiple of the same troop type. If you really need to, then train them in a different city.

Actually, that's far less advanced of a system than is currently in place...

There's really no point in having something that can kill catapults, as technically cavalry and archers already can if you command well enough and have the right stats.

Ditto to what Arythy said. Also, here is a post explaining how some troops are already more effective agaimst others. Its kinda old, but I'm assuming it still holds true.

The attack of the long range troop is reduced to 1/4 in a close battle.

What takes out the ballistae? Lol flaming arrows that take out cats sound hard to beat

if you have played....whats the name of it.... Age Of Empires, we should be able to have different recherche projects similar to techs but one time only training. these include but are not limited to:
flaming arrows-additional attack bonus to archers vs catapults and turrets
armour- well... you get it lol
pikes- additional damage to calv from infantry
