Gold Treasury

I realize this has been suggested before in several different ways but I'd like to make a more in-depth suggestion on it.



The idea for a gold treasury has been suggested multiple times but none were very detailed. My take on it is this,


Location

The location of the Treasury would be between the Cranny and Warehouse, but the map would need to be expanded.

OR

Recreate the Warehouse/Cranny, give it a different name and look and allow players to deposit/withdraw gold there.

Either would work though it seems the first choice would be more work in the end.


Usage

Use of the Treasury would vary based on the users choice. Deposits could be made all the same but what differs are the choices the user make when depositing their gold.

Deposits


The deposits could go one of a couple ways, this part is Haypi's choice.

• Deposits could start at a base number of say 500 gold. From that point on you are able to deposit cold up to but not more than the amount of gold you have in the Treasury

OR

• Deposits could be free to the users choice. Deposit however much you lie no matter the amount you have in the Treasury at the time.

Deposits would gain interest which leads me to....

Interest


Interest would be based on the amount of time you choose to deposit your gold and allow it to mature. During this time you would NOT be allowed to withdraw the gold you've deposited.

• 1 Day (24 Hour) Deposit - The interest rate for a 1 day deposit would be about 2%. This means if you deposit 500 gold, at the end of the day you would have 510 gold. Gold deposited using this option could not be withdrawn for 1 day.

• 7 Days (168 Hours) Deposit - The interest rate for a 7 day deposit would be about 16%. This means if you deposit 500 gold, at the end of the 7 days you would have 580 gold. Gold deposited using this option could not be withdrawn for 7 days.

• General Interest - All gold in your treasury will gain ~5% interest every 7 days. This means if you have 500 gold in your treasury, at the end of 7 days you will have 528 gold. Gold withdrawal is not effected.

While the interest rates don't seem like much, you have to consider the fact that there will be far larger amounts than 500 gold.

Interest rates would be fine tuned to meet Haypi's standard of course, these are just base numbers.


Other Adjustments

With the addition to the Treasury, modifications could be done to the Break Cranny skill. From what I've seen lately, Break Cranny is rarely used since forts can be farmed. This will bring new strategies for players to use. Break Cranny would need a new name change though.

• Steal Resources (Best I can think of at the moment) - If you have this skill, you can steal resources in other player's Cranny as well as Treasury. The higher level the skill is, the more resources and gold you can steal.

~ Level 1 - Break Cranny 5%/Rob Treasury 3%
~ Level 2 - Break Cranny 10%/Rob Treasury 6%
~ Level 3 - Break Cranny 15%/Rob Treasury 9%
~ Level 4 - Break Cranny 20%/Rob Treasury 12%
~ Level 5 - Break Cranny 25%/Rob Treasury 15%
~ Level 6 - Break Cranny 30%/Rob Treasury 18%
~ Level 7 - Break Cranny 35%/Rob Treasury 21%
~ Level 8 - Break Cranny 40%/Rob Treasury 24%
~ Level 9 - Break Cranny 45%/Rob Treasury 27%
~ Level 10 - Break Cranny 50%/Rob Treasury 30%



I think I covered everything I want to but I lost my notes so I'm not sure. I tried to keep things as easy to understand but at 2 in the morning running off 2 hours of sleep that can be kind of hard.

Any feedback at all is appreciated but if you don't like the idea give a reason please.

Good idea to make money and even better that you can steal money off other players :)

Nice idea. I see lots of thought has gone into this.
Stealing gold would give a big incentive to attack others, and I forsee if this was added more player vs. Player battles

I don't like losing money >.< but it is a good idea for the game.

With the Warehouse and Cranny, instead of having two separate buildings - if they were combined into just a warehouse could it be that every time you upgrade your 'warehouse' there would be a 'safe resource' amount which is just like the Cranny's purpose. It could increase by a percentage each time it's upgraded.

I think this is an AMAZING idea. It makes there become a risk toputting money into the treasurey but also a huge income bonus. I would completely Aprove of this if i had a say in the matter ;)

Thanks for the feedback. That was my plan all along Beast, Haypi is severely lacking in strategy as it is.
