Haypi Taxes

So I'm sure everyone here has noticed that when u sell sonething on the market you don't earn the full profit from what you sold. Part of it goes to what is known to most as 'Haypi taxes'. But what is the point of this? These taxes aren't going anywhere. They are pointless and very annoying. They make it harder to earn money and I've found a lot of users agree with me on this topic. I think these taxes should be eliminated and removed from this game. You may argue that it makes the market more life-like but in real life taxes are there for the purpose of making money for the government to make society better. But how do imaginary taxes help Haypi Kingdom? They don't so once again I say they should be removed. Thanks for listening!

Re: Haypi Taxes

Taxes go towards everyone's daily gift. Eliminate the tax and you'll get rid of the daily gift as well.

Re: Haypi Taxes

But Lance if it's not a real economy why do u need taxes? But I guess u could be right. However when u lose thousands to taxes and the daily gift doesn't make up for it, then it gets annoying also.

Re: Haypi Taxes

Thats an awsome idea :D But then people could just buy for .01 and sell for .02 and make a ton of money... It is too easy to make money that way

Re: Haypi Taxes

But beast they could still do that now but the wanting to sell for more keeps it up. Even without taxes it would most likely stay up since people would still want to earn more. But it is a good point.

Re: Haypi Taxes

This tax system is suppose to be removed in the future since it was admitted before that it served no real purpose for it. But who knows when/if it will get removed sooner rather than later.

But without the tax I can buy a chest from a friend, open it for them and resell the contents back to them without anybody losing money. I thought the tax there to deter that as well.

You also run the risk of having another player buy up your item before your friend does. It doesn't happen too often, but I have come across some min priced treasures that I happily purchased.

Re: Haypi Taxes

Yeah but I'm talking about putting it up for a price arbitrarily in the middle that isn't already used. That way its unique enough to find, yet no one will snipe you.
