Forum visit rewards.

I would really like to see some form of reward system put in place for forum posters (despite knowing how much more work that would mean for us Mods :p )

It's more than apparent that the forums aren't advertised nearly enough and we need to get some of the Haypi community sharing stories, knowledge and the like with each other regardless of Servers or Alliances.

I'm yet to think of a viable reward system as yet, but I'm sure many will follow.

Also, what about an automated World Chat message along the lines of "Visit the forums at http://haypi.com/forum for hints, tips and discussions from all players on all servers!" every couple of hours or so.
Or something better, but you get my drift.

Anywho, thoughts?

I like this idea. Would get the forum more popular.

We've suggested this before actually. DOn't be surprised if you see it in new task (if they're ever added that is).

i say it should be a hidden thing because now people will use forums for the reword instead of useing it for the forum itself.

this is very true so i think that it is a bad idea due to the fact that the reward system could be abused this although it may lead to some usefull posts will lead to more spam posts so players get the rewards and therefore lead to a forum full of spam rather than a system people can use for help

exactly the forum would be abused and it would go from a forum with players that actually help and stuff to a s1 wc when all the spamers come out... its not pretty ask nathan hes in s1

Honestly, If the reward were simply for applying and posting on the forums, that would at least get people in the door.
The first step is showing people where the forums are and getting them signed up. The second step is actually having them use the forums.

true but still there will be someone that makes some sort of auto posting program that will post 1000 topics in a day and blah blah garbageness....
