I think you should be able to upload a picture to use for your avatar, instead of having to link to another website.

This seems like a good idea.

You do have a point there. If they could rid of inappropriate pictures this would word. But I do not want to see inappropriate pictures though. I already seen enough as is and I do not like it.

im sure there is a way but still not very good idea. im sure you can find a link on the internet to the picture you would like, you can also go to photobucket and upload your own picture and you can get the link of that pic from there. just saying

It might not and it might be... Don't knock the idea down and I know how to get links for pictures and the websites to do it at. I'm not slamming your opinion but it could work. I am open minded about new ideas and it's great to see these ideas.

to be honest people will always be innapropriate however with the extra effort of linking to another website it has resulted in practically no innapropriate avatar pics

If people wanted to post inappropriate pictures, they'd find a way to do it either way. Besides, people like that don't last long on the forums. Most people on the forums are here to help.

I wouldn't care if somebody would help me... Whenever I put in a link, it either says it's "too long" or "invalid"

I have used other forums that have downloaded a mod for this, and if it is inappopriate the mods can "flush" the avatar
