No, because part of the reason is to escape a losing battle or in case they pulled out a larger army than you thought they had. That's just an added benefit that you don't lose prestige, though you should.... ^^
Fungie wrote:Totally support this idea!! I support Erraven's extra prestige idea too! We should get bonus for scaring off attackers and whatever prestige they lost.

To a small degree though. Otherwise, this could get abused. (giving friends prestige without losing troops at the cost of coins. In pvp, you get 300. The feeding problem would be even worse...)

I countered my own idea to a degree. ^^

I was thinking like 100 pres or something. That would make a big difference on pvp so how about 50? :)

The whole process could be used to boost up noobs either ways, but that size wouldn't be too much. ^^

OR

maybe (20 times (the recallers level times the difference in level)). Where same level is one and each level after is either one added. If either is more than 4 levels higher, no prestige loss bc higher levels would take advantage to level alts and contact between troops has to occur to get recall prestige. If the recaller is of lower level, the number for difference in level is below 1 but always higher than 0. Meaning also that you don't lose much prestige if you decide to hit a higher level, he's online so you recall. If the troops involved don't have a prestige value that's equal or higher than the recall prestige loss, you only lose the troops value. Loses one for each level over your level when you recall so that a lv4 doesn't lose 400 prestige from widrawing from a lv8, but instead loses 80. Though why would a lv4 go after a lv8 anyways. Unless you had him toasted by a higher level. XD

(highest value being a lv 20 withdrawing from a lv 16....2000 prestige lost just for just recalling. Take a level 4 withdrawing from a lv4...80 prestige points. Somehow a lv1 withdrawing from a lv1....20.

Am I the only person confused here? I hope so.... :?

You lost me at the 3 levels higher and levelling alt part  but the levelling up calculations would avoid pvp abuse. Great idea :P

You must have caught that post right in between me selecting submit and me editing. LOL. I might save this post and edit. I like the idea too. ^^

Errr.... I got the gist of it but I'm just gonna leave the prestige losses to the developers to calculate :D Basically we should have this system!!! I know someone got nearly wiped out yesterday from attacking someone else and someone called back so someone else got NO prestige which is really mean :x :x So please do consider this suggestion

Prestige or troops. It goes either way. If a person is smart with their callback when they're outnumbered, they'll withdraw before the end of round 1. If not, then it's their own loss and fault.

N yeah a 'bonus withdraw prestige' would be good for the person being withdrawn against ^^ whether it be the attacker or defender <more for defender if attacker withdraws >

won't happen because then the creators would be losing money!! because people would be saving the 5 coins it cost to run like a coward!!!!

no. It would still cost coins and people would still recall to save their troops. They'd be making more money bc people would lose a fun bit more of prestige and use coins in a way to boost. This would also make it where people could get a bit more prestige, making the gameplay a little bit more fun. Especially when finding troops out is becomming harder.

Small problem is people will be more careful with throwing armies at people, but when they do prestige will be gained/lost one way or another unless the person that lost loses too much.

Perhaps there should be a gain in prestige for just winning. A small amount like 10 prestige or a complicated formula that depends on the amount of troops involved. I'm sure there's a thread on this so I won't ramble. ^^ (here anyways)
