a chat with all servers would be a disaster. it would be impossible to hold a conversation because of the sheer number of people chatting.

You alleady get some bad enough trouble makers and their crew in the chats as it is.

Now you want to throw them all in the same dish? That can only spell Cataclysm.

pvp+forums= good enough

also lag would be terrible...
