what i said above is for support to do the decreasing prestige for repititive cussers and spammers.

screen shots by support should be included when they send it to support..

ANd what you are saying above is out of the topic. all im saying is we need support to punish spammers and cussers through decreasing prestige. experts should do the screen shots and send it to support and support will do the judging...

That Just adds to supports work load though. It won't happen....

yah it will add work load, but what if they will have 1 support person online during the day and 1 support person during the night..sadly they cant eliminate spammers and cussers if they wont do something.

HALF the experts dont even build armies these days. they are too busy in world chat>..>

and most experts could care less who was top player. but then again prestige is nothign for most spammers/cussers/trolls

I'm in that half. I think this is not a good idea. The gameplay in chat should be kept separate in my mind.

Re: MUTEs with consequences

This idea has been discussed at length previously.

There definitely IS some credit to it, but the cons outweigh the pros in the end.

I think there just needs to be a 100% hole proof rule;
1st mute after 3 Warnings
2nd mute after 2 Warnings
3rd mute after 1 Warning
4th mute = report sent to support and 1 Month chat ban.
Any further offences incur an immediate 1 Month chat ban via Support.

Of course for this to work, experts would need to pay attention to who they're muting and cooperate with each other (which is currently rare) and support would need to step up and act on these reports immediately (a rather large ask, I suspect).

Re: MUTEs with consequences

I like adinas idea but it would need to be on a sliding scale. Certain offenses are definitely worse then others, also they would need to make it so that experts could tell how many times they have been warned that day.

Re: MUTEs with consequences

Eh, an offence is an offence.

If Haypi sent the rules to each in box of every new account made, there'd need not be any excuses or confusion regarding the rules to begin with.
Any deliberate rule breaking shouldn't be punishable based on how bad it was or you just end up with a bunch of kids pushing the boundaries every day and warnings left right and centre leaving you no time to help the players that actually follow the rules and want to ask questions.

You do the wrong thing, you're punished. That's also why there's 3 warning leniency on first offence. Juuuust in case you're so thick you really don't get it; you get 3 turns to work it out! Who could argue with that? :p
