Losing any significant branch city would be a huge loss to me, and I would gladly spend coins to prevent that.

Question- when you take over a branch city, do you "take it over" with all the mines/mills leveled up, or do you start over from scratch? I am going to be able to create a new branch soon, and it might be tempting to take over someone else's branch...

When you take it you keep all their upgrades. You need two people to take a sub though.

Not only do you get the branches upgraded, you also take any enhance production that they paid for (Yay!)

Now---some people actually do want their upgraded branch cities taken away from them (Why? so that they can get prestige from rebuilding). Not my style but w/e lol.

Ok now, the problem with Branch cities is that you can't rename them (sucks). I have 2 stolen cities I can't rename.

Now, to take a branch city, you need at least 2 people. Every time the city loses, the loyalty goes down by 10. You are only allowed 5 attacks per person every 24 hours so these have to be fresh attacks unless you have more people to help you. I forget the regeneration of loyalty but I believe it's 20 per hour if you don't lose any attacks within that hour. The attacks have to be back to back to back. The last person to bring the loyalty down to 0 gets the city if they have a spare city slot.
Some will toil endlessly. Others will fail miserably. We know an alternative.

Make that 10 loyalty per hour.
