I hope the big wigs see this post because I am proud to be the one to start a "hate the update" post. And yes majic I suppose everyone does love u. Everyone here is right about this. I agree the probability of success is an obvious way to make money through coins. As majic said, we are in a very inactive server and even there, there is a large amount of warping with coins so I don't think there's any decrease in flow of cash. I hope people continue to revolt to make a point. May be the only way to smack some common sense into "certain people". Let's bring the game back to it's roots and prevent it from becoming a rich win poor lose sort of game!!

i made a thread a few days ago, if you have the time to read it it is along the same lines as this thread, coins give too much of an advantage to players with money.

Everyone seemed to disagree with me or agree but say nothing should be changed.

These new features like enchantment stones and open chests with coins only make it so that people who use coins have a bigger advantage.

And nothing seems to be changing to make it easier for the people who dont use coins, as you cant give a direct advantage to people who dont buy coins you have to just make coins less of a major thing, by incresing or decreasing everything proportinatly, as then the effect of the coins will be dampened.

Decreasing BP will help the most active non coin players, which seemed to be my biggest arguement.

Along with a few other improvement suggestions i suggested a non coin world, where game rules would be tweaked so BP is lowered and resources produced by mines raised.

As i doubt anyone has ever tried to play haypi and not use a single coin and be in the top 100 ranks the game will move slower without the extra resources and tresure.

So more resources and money will have to be added, and as no one will be buying treasure with coins there will be a lack of treasure, something needs to be done about that.

But things can also work backwards, if mine production was left the same as that would help coin players just as much as they would just rush a huge army and clear everyone and have more resources.
But lower BP so non coin players can get their resources from other members and ha_a players rather than from coins.
Its more work, but fairer yes?
While coins players would rather just buy 20k.

But as a non coins player with 7 day BP you can get to rank 4, and are ready to start attacking people, but find you can for another 5 days or something.

Thats 5 days relying of your oases and mines and any players that you clear, but say the chances of that are 50:50 for averages sake.


Im all for lowering the effectiveness of coins and giving the non coin players a better chance to get in the top ranks.

The most simple way to put it, if u pay you should be rewarded by ingame extras, but i still agree that it should be offerd for free with ingame munny, at a high price of corse, that way if u buy coin u get it now otherwise pay, say 350,000 for a few stones that will take ages but will still be fair and free,
I realy don't like having to buy coin to get these stone only then to have a 50% chance of enhancement, that is rubish.

Also toothed ppl that say it's a requirement to buy coin to pas lvl6 I didn't buy coin till after lvl12 an that was to get lvl15equipment, tho medalions are rare you can save up an buy them.

So in short, there shouldn't be a persentage on enhancements, and you should be able to by from npc at a escelated ingame price??!!??

I belive my maths to be correct, if they are then if you happen to have
3075 coins
then you can get an attack, defence, speed bonus of 15% from horse sword and armour. Also manual and ring gets a 100% bonus but havent worked out the stats for that.

Which is a a hell of alot of coins, but if you have the money then that doesnt really mean much to you. But if you dont you see people who attack first, do tonnes of damage, and if you manage to attack then your attack will do little damage.
But they will almost always attack first, unless your speed is somehow at most 30 above their base speed, at least 15. Which is about 2-3 lvs.

there are other ways to get what is required it will just take longer

I'm all for this! I have no money to buy coins, treasures are basically only available by coins to buy at all times, and people who actually play the game without buying coins are at such a disadvantage, many people with coins are seen with armies exceeding two thousand catapults. In all, the updates are stupid, I want to desroy them, and the reliance of coins on everything makes those not willing to pay extremely weak compared to those who are.

trasures are available. they may not be around on demand but if you have a little patience these things always present themselves,

Yeah, but i rarely get treasures with hunts or gifts

I dont like the fact that its forced upon you to open chest with ONLY coins, and also cannot sell em at market. They should have made it so that you can open chests with gold or even prestige, OR, sell em at market.
But:
The update is to make money and change the game a bit. Thou, the update is more of a money maker than anything, its part of the game.
I am pissed too, that they used this method. But, if they would make it too easy, then ANYONE would be able to have full enh equipment and full lvl 15 treasures.

You cannot make it too easy, otherwise, the game will loose interest. Its pretty much same as real life. Some can afford a Ferrari, some cannot. Simple...

2000 catapults really isn't that much. 20,000 crop consumption spread across a few cities is very easily manageable without coins. I could handle 2000 catapults in one city (as a Lvl 13) without using coins. 2000 cats is a very small army in this game. Plus as Nathan said you can get all the treasures and stones coin buyers get it will just take longer. Haypi is a company and like any company they need cash-flow to keep the business going. If people spending money on the game keeps the game alive then I'm all for it.
