possible additions? or are updates no longer?
i have a few new suggestions i've got today. one is not my own but i thought was a good idea.
first is to give people who are in refuse war, a white flag in their cities on the map or outline with blue. this would assist in knowing who to not waste time scouting. now...i would normally not suggest this but considering the high amount of players that use RW on a daily basis on this new merged server...i can't help but wonder if having something like that would help.
the second suggestion i have is one that probably has been mentioned previously. this would be to have a multiselect option in the mail to dalete them so as to delete more. when buying crop for ally or even scouting, it's a lot to delete...one at a time.
third is something i've spoken to support about is a bit more personal but i have an htc thunderbolt phone and i had to buy an iphone4 as a backup so that i can have alerts since apparently my phone doesn't get alerts yet. i would love to know why the scrabble app won't leave me alone but hk can't bother to let me know when i'm being wiped. lol. just something i'd like to see improved.
fourth...well, everyone knows there's an issue with hk force closing on apple products. i got an iphone 4s 16gb with hardly anything on it and...low and behold, it freezes and force closes quite often surprisingly. now, i know this is mostly the ram on the device building up and needing to dump temp info but on a phone that's running nothing, on wifi, and still has this issue...seems odd to me. maybe seeing less temp info stored on the device (which might slow down response time or just more to download) might aleviate this a little.
last suggestion i have is my BIGGEST concern. tho, we have 1-2 inactive experts (on a new merged server) that have yet to be removed and myself and several others have been nominated yet nothing has been done. i'm not asking that something is done per say...we have 8 that are decently active and take care of things. my concern is the sheer intentional ignorance of chat rules. people come onto wc and intentionally curse and you know what the reaction is? a warning...now why, pray tell, do they get a warning? if they have to type a " ' " over a word, they know that they aren't suppose to be saying it. i'm beyond tired of seeing the deliberate immature behaviour in wc simply because they know they can get away with it.
what i would love to see is support send out a letter (to experts and then all players) advising them that if they intentionally avoid the filter to curse (an actually curse word, "not cucumber"), they get one warning...if they have not been seen cursing earlier in the day. after that, they get muted. i have no issues with "damn" "stupid" or any simple PG-13 variation of a sign of anger. people come on wc to intentionally curse and no one can tell me that they type a curse word without doing it on purpose. this agrivates me simply because it is a test of authority and shouldn't be done...even worse is when someone get's a warning and wants to know what they said to get it...when they typed it!
alas, that is all for now. just thought i would vent my frustrations about the high amount of immaturity i've seen for the past 6 months and the little that has been done. maybe...just maybe...there is something that can be done. people know the rules, they are in the help tab, and it shouldn't be hard to follow them.
