More helpful support

Almost every time I send something to support, they reply with something completely irrelevant. It seems, all they do is pull something out of the help tab that has a few same keywords. Just now, I sent in a glitch that was only for me so I didn't post it in bugs on forums. My crop output in one of my subs is lower than another with the exact same crop building levels(15) and none of them have any troops in them. I specified, "there are no troops in either city." the reply I got was something about troop consumption. My point is, the people who answer the support letters should answer with relevant replies, not just random hints that we can look up ourselves. If they don't know the answer, a simple "we will look into it" would be better than some random answer, don't you think?

Re: More helpful support

Sorry we let you down. There are tons of letters flooding in every day, and I firmly believe each support works really hard to get things done. But sometimes we make mistakes and sometimes you may believe our answer is not what you want. I strongly suggest you ask again or post it here, and I believe our mods, experts, players and staff are more than willing to answer your question.

I believe it is more useful to find an answer to your question than just complain. I am not trying to find any excuse and we will do our best not to let you down again.

Thank you

Tracy

Re: More helpful support

Just to ask the obvious, which I'm sure you've already thought of, you aren't occupying a different number of crop oasis from each city, right?

There are NO troops outside of the cities but related to either, right? (ie, hunting, in an oasis, in a fort, dispatching).

Now that the blatantly obvious is covered, your next option would be to reinstall haypi and see if it balances out.
You may try building one or two infantry or something in either city also and seeing if it straightens out there.

Failing that, you're going to have to pose your question to support again.
Clarify in point forum your situation. For example;

City X: Crop output Y. Troop in city - none,. Troops in oasis/fort/dispatch - none. Upgrade levels slot 1- X, slot 2 - X, slot 3 - X, slot 4 - X.
Oasis' occupied - X, their levels - Y
City Y: Repeat above with correct information.

You may want to add your Planting tech level too even though that's not quite relevant to the difference, it will be factored in to your overall output.

The more simple information you give ( and all at once ), the better response you're going to get.
Support are fantastic with numbers generally, so give them numbers :)

Good luck

Re: More helpful support

Could it just be confirmed that when you reply with a, "We'll look into it" (as I've heard is the reply for most reports), that you actually do?

I'm sure many emails flood everyday. Some of which probably even aren't report-worthy.

But I'd rather be answered with a more specific answer, like, "This evidence isn't enough to prompt an inquiry into the matter." If that is the case.

"We'll look into it." Just kind of seems like.. well.. blowing it off basically.

Re: More helpful support

Ok, the matter was resolved, it was my mistake. Wow I feel stupid :S I admit that this post was me venting, but the main message of this thread still stands. I would rather get a "we don't know, please try so and so again" than something off topic.
