I think it might be an idea if we were able to decide whether our PM was on or off! that way this bug wouldn't affect us as badly since you wouldn't be able to receive any PMs at all if you know this bug affects you! Also it would be useful in the future once the bug is fixed so you don't end up with a PM at the bottom of your screen for 5/6 hours!

I think being able to turn off the chat pop-ups on the main city screen is a good idea, but instead of being able to completely turn off PM capability, I think the ability to clear PM's would be more practical.

I just feel being able to turn PMs off would be an idea since sometimes its a way people find out if players are online or not! I suppose it would show up if you werent online but you would also be able to hide. Kinda like MSNs offline feature except you cant talk.

How does a PM allow you to discover if somebody is online or not?

How quickly they respond! Right now it is a good way of crashing the large majority of peoples games! I just think that if you could turn it off then you would be able to use it when you needed it and it would stop the message staying at the bottom of the screen for hours on end!

If I don't want people to know I'm on, I won't respond to a PM. That's the players fault there.

But I do understand where you are coming from. Just in my opinion I think that after the update, having the option to turn of PM capability would be pointless. I agree that it would be nice to have the message at the bottom stop, but I think a better implementation would be for that to be separate from completely shutting off PM. Does that make sense?

I strongly agree!! Those who are not affected by the crashing chat do not seem to understand the frustration of PM crashing chat for up to 3 days. If PM is going to crash my chat every time I receive one, I have no use for it anyway. Let me disable it to solve my problem.

well I think instead of adding a completely new feature to the game I think you should all just be patient until the haypi staff fix the bug. :/ I'm not trying to be mean and I understand that your all frustrated by patience is a virtue:/

What clone said, why add a feature to the game so that this bug can be avoided? Just wait for the update
