Specific troop control

I often go fight and they have something like 100 inf and 100 calv well say I have 100 cats? It would be helpful to make it so we can say 50 of the cats attack the inf and 50 attack the calv? So in other words make it so you can select how many things attack one thing.

Re: Specific troop control

although this sounds quite interesting it would be very complicated and the way each units attacks and moves in itself should be enough. eg in your example the cavs attack quickly meaning that you cats concentrate on them first before your in range of the inf. although it sounds great i think that the system is fine how it is

Re: Specific troop control

this would partially ruin the shielding purpose of the game idea. the point is to waste a turn of cats or calv attack to atatck soemthign useless like my 3k archer but if u can have 2k atatck ym archers and 5k attack inf and 10k atatck calv u could clear most possibly all units in 1 turn...

Re: Specific troop control

I think instead of dividing up your attack, which would make commanding that much more fun, you could control how far your troops move forward.
For example, max speed CAVS move a long ways. why do they have to move their entire distance every turn?

Re: Specific troop control

Once the cav or inf are in range tell the cats to move backwards while attacking. It gives you that much more time to take them out.
