Haypi needs an in-game change
Haypi, like many other mmo and rts games, is based on the interactions between the players as friends and foes. However, this isn't even part of the gameplay in haypi kingdom. An alliance is good for nothing but seeing your friends on chat because there is no way for alliance members to activly fight with each other. Also, fighting is supposed to be interesting, but in haypi there is only forward and backward in a fight IF there even is a fight and it's easy to know who is gonna win as long as they have the bigger army. There is hardly any room for tactics or skill in the way battles are fought.
The marketplace is a real failure as well. Many resources and treasures in the server 1 market are being sold for minimum or near minimum price and other treasures you never see in the market.
I noticed that the administration has tried to ease world chat on the servers by adding more experts but there are a few problems with this move. 90% of all the hate and vulgar activity in world chat is a result of experts being present. In my opinion, an expert that is a player compromises there decision making abilities and effects the way players interact with the expert. Every player has an enemy and by making a player expert this results in an issue.
The idea and the excitement if pvp I think is good only as an idea. Pvp in itself really isn't the best way to make the game more exciting, if pvp is just a profit thing then that doesn't really help the way players look at haypi kingdom.
So you have read my list of complaints and concerns and I would put these up without offering suggestions as to how these issues can be resolved.
1. Battle simulation should be changed so that players can fight together against another opponent.
2. The battle screen should be widened and lengthened to provide more strategic opportunities
3. There should be an alliance bank where each player is taxed for a percent of there gold and it will all go to the alliance to spend on different items. The tax would be set by the leader but The max wouldnt be more than 5% and only the leader and vices could control the money. This also brings up the idea of items that can be bought to help the whole alliance.
4. Forts should be captured by alliances and be able to be used as points of attack and defense. It would have fortifications as a city, but any member of the alliance could move there troops there to be protected or to launch an attack from.
5. The marketplace should be turned into an auction house where players buy and sell from an npc. The way it would work is there would be an auction help every hour for every treasure or resource and the only te highest bidder gets the prize. Players can not see what someone else is bidding and if a player is outbid then they can not receive there money back, so players have to be smart about how they bid.
6. Experts should be nonplayer accounts that come from th haypi staff. Also, experts should insta mute any rule breaking because if the players already know the rules then why should they need a warning?
7. Players should be able to actively get coins through normal gameplay. They don't need to get a lot and it doesnt have to be easy, but it should be there to replace pvp. My idea starts with players being able to gain small amounts of prestige and money off of npc's. As players farm npc's they will collect map pieces and when they have all the pieces of the map then a secret city is revealed near them that only they can see and they can attack the city and fight the troops there to gain coins or prestige. There could be twenty lvls and each lvl is harder than the next. Also there could be a big final prize for defeating the special city entirely. Which gives the opportunity for a player to be able to costumize their city or army with maybe a flag or a banner. Some rare and special banners can only be obtained through defeating a special city to prove your experience as a general.
I hope many of you share my concerns and are interested in my ideas. I realize that game changes like the ones I suggest take much time, but if something is gonna change then I at least want my say. Thanks again, if you have any questions or concerns you can mail me or comment on the post.
