Export/Import System

This was used in another online game I play, and please excuse me if it's been suggested, but I didn't see it in my perusal of the board. Basically this was a building that allowed you to send/receive x amount of resources in that city per hour (let's say x = 500 * building level). So, say City 1 has a Trading Post level 5, City 2 has a Trading Post level 15, and City 3 has a Trading Post level 7. You could send/receive up to 2500 resources per hour from/to City 1, 7500 per hour in City 2, and 3500 in City 3. This is useful for sending crops to cities with larger armies, as well as providing resources to cities with increased need due to production or growth. The combined import/export of a city from/to other cities cannot exceed x.

EX:

City 1 (1000 stone) -> City 3
City 1 (500 crops) -> City 2
City 2 (2000 lumber) -> City 1

City 1 is exporting 1500 of a total possible 2500 per hour, and is importing 2000 of a possible 2500, so everything is good. But then say City 3 tried to send 1000 iron back to City 1, not ok because that would put City 1 over its 2500 per hour max import.

Its called something called 'transport'. Click on it and it allows you to transport resources....

An active, one time transport system is in no way equal to a passive, hourly transport system, and the other game I played used both. It helps out a lot when you're trying to support an army that comsumes more crops than one city can possibly produce.

but you only have so much crop flows combined, if one city cannot support troops while the other city can, keep them in the other city.

You can only have 2 hunts active at a time. Therefore, troops split among multiple cities are not safe, so that isn't really a viable option.

If you're not VIP, you can have 2 groups of hunt going per city. that means if you have 2 cities you will have a total of 4 hunts, but only two groups for one city.

If you have VIP, you can have 3 groups of hunt per city, so 6 hunting party total for 2 cities etc.

This should be more than enough for anyone.

If you have a passive export system, then you have fewer reasons to log-in and play the game which is the main reason why I think we will never see this implemented.

Nevertheless, it is an interesting idea to which I really can't think of any way to abuse it.

I like the idea. ( I know that up there I said you could just use the transport system ) However it really does defeat the object of the game. You would never need to go onto the game ( this has too already been mentioned im just agreeing ) as your troops would never starve.... I doubt it will be implemented but Im not complaining if it does get implemented though :D
