being able to gift coins

how about an option where you can buy coins to gift to other players for example my sister is a very into haypi kingdom and as a birthday or christmas present i wanted to buy her some coins for haypi kingdom
any opinion or ways to make this idea more practical are appreciated

Gift her an iTunes gift card. Then she can buy coins with it (or whatever she wants)

It would be useful. Plus you can't send an Itunes gift card to someone you don't know in real life lol.

You can send anyone an iTunes gift card. Just send them the code. You could simply use iTunes to buy a printable gift certificate and send them the number.

Definitely some pros and cons to this. I quite like the notion and it could work if the amount of gifts you are able to give within a set period of time is limited.

What I meant was that you can buy the coins and send them as a gift. you can't just send the coins you already have.

It would be ok if they had a set amount of coins u could send in a set amount of time! Like adina said

I think a coins trading system is possible, made a thread about it over 6 months ago, can't be bothered digging it up though.

Basically haypis need to have restrictions on coins for this to work, effectively 2 types of coins, coins that's purchased and coins that's earned (eg. starting coins, app downloading coins, daily gift coins, pvp prize coins etc.).

Only purchased coins may be traded, such as sold over the market, but one player may only buy certain amount of coins off the market a day, this is per account and per device like the attack limit. Adjustments will need to be made on how people put up coins on the market and how they are purchased to enable this, perhaps make it so you can only put up either 1/5/10 coins in a pack and people only allowed to purchase 10 coins a day off the market.

Earned coins are locked and cannot be sold. Also coins that have been bought from the market also become locked and cannot be traded again.

This way people who is after quick money with coins can trade to the market for a good ratio and people who cannot afford to buy coins have another route to obtain them. Hopefully with restrictions it won't be abused.
